Your privacy is critical to us, and we have two fundamental principles:
How we secure our apps and the systems behind them, including vulnerability management and how we handle security incidents, is described in our Security Policy. We invest in security and aim to offer all our Forge-based Atlassian solutions with the highest security badge, Runs on Atlassian.
For the personal data our add-ons process inside your Jira, Confluence or monday.com instance, you (our customer) are the data controller and we act as a data processor on your behalf, in accordance with our Data Processing Agreement. Requests from individuals whose data is stored in a customer's instance should be directed to that customer as the controller. For personal data we process in our own right, such as website visitors, support correspondence and analytics, we act as the data controller, and you may contact us directly to exercise your rights.
With the exception of the apps listed below, data is stored within your Jira, Confluence or monday.com instance, without remote access by us.
Where we act as a processor, processing is carried out on the documented instructions of the customer under our Data Processing Agreement. Where we act as a controller, we rely on: performance of a contract (to provide and support the solution and respond to your requests); our legitimate interests (to secure, maintain and improve our services, and to communicate with users); and, where required, your consent (for example, non-essential analytics and session-recording tools).
With the exception of the apps below, we do not share data with third-party providers.
With the exception of the apps below, we do not collect analytics. Our solutions set cookies if needed to operate.
For solutions that run on Atlassian, data stays within the Atlassian platform and no international transfer by us takes place. For our other solutions, primary storage is within the EU/EEA (Ireland). Some of our sub-processors may process data outside the EU/EEA. In those cases we rely on the safeguards provided by those sub-processors, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework certification included in their own terms, so that transferred data receives an appropriate level of protection.
Our add-ons are designed to comply with the GDPR. With the exception of the apps below, data is stored within your Jira, Confluence or monday.com instance and is removed when you delete it there or uninstall the app.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. Where we act as a controller, you can exercise these rights by contacting us at support@bojaconsulting.com. Where we act as a processor, please contact the relevant customer (controller). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority; in Sweden this is the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY).
When you contact support by email, we may occasionally tell you about new features, ask for your feedback, offer support, or keep you up to date with our products. We may publish anonymised support requests in order to clarify or respond to your request and to help us support other users.
Although most changes are likely to be minor, we may update this Privacy Policy from time to time at our discretion. We encourage visitors to check this page for changes. Your continued use of this site after any change constitutes your acceptance of that change. Last updated 2 August 2026.
